Real Risks

What goes wrong without a registered firm

Material Substitution

You pay for Fe500 steel. The contractor buys Fe415. You pay for 43-grade cement. He uses 33-grade. The difference goes in his pocket — and your walls crack in year three.

Mid-project Abandonment

No written contract means no legal recourse. When the advance runs out — or a better-paying job comes along — the contractor disappears. Recommissioning adds 30–40% to your cost.

Approval Nightmares

Incorrect building plans submitted to IDA can result in demolition notices for unapproved construction. Regularising an illegally built structure costs more than building it correctly from day one.

No Warranty, No Recourse

Waterproofing fails in the first monsoon. Tiles hollow out. Plaster cracks. With no written warranty and an unregistered contractor, you have no legal standing. You pay twice — once to build, once to fix.

Client Stories

What our clients say

"We had a bad experience with a local contractor on our first house — disappeared after taking 70% payment. VIP Home's milestone payment system meant we never had to trust blindly. Every payment was against verified work."

RS
Rohit Sharma G+2 Residence, Vijay Nagar

"The 3D design before construction was the game changer. We changed the kitchen layout twice in the design phase — no cost. With a contractor that would have been a ₹2 lakh demolition and redo."

PM
Priya Mehta 4BHK Villa, Scheme 54

"Two years after handover, a door frame swelled in the monsoon. One call to VIP Home and a carpenter was there within 48 hours at no cost. That after-sales support is priceless."

Anil Kumar 3BHK Duplex, Navlakha
