Common Questions
Higher quality builds use more steel (larger RCC frame sections), slightly more cement (richer mix ratios like M25 vs M20), and fewer bricks (more column-beam frame, less load-bearing masonry). Premium and luxury finishes also require more paint layers and larger-format, thicker tiles.
Construction materials are always ordered 8–12% more than the net calculation to account for: breakage during transit and handling (tiles, bricks), cutting waste (tiles), small spillage during mixing (cement, sand), and slight over-pouring of concrete. Ordering short is far more disruptive than having a small surplus.
Yes. These are whole-project thumb-rule estimates that include foundation (footing), columns, beams, slabs, walls, plaster, flooring, and painting for the entire built-up area. They do not include waterproofing chemicals, wood for shuttering, scaffolding, or external development (compound wall, driveway).
Major wholesale markets are at Palda Mandi, Rajendra Nagar iron market, and Scheme No. 54 for tiles and sanitaryware. For branded cement (Ambuja, UltraTech, ACC) and TMT steel (SAIL, JSW, TATA), buying directly from authorised dealerships gives consistent quality and proper invoices for bank documentation.
